SoilGard 12G is a microbial fungicide derived from a naturally occurring soil fungus. The active ingredient is antagonistic to plant pathogenic fungi such as Pythium and Rhizoctonia, which aids in control of these root rot pathogens. SoilGard 12G is a granular formulation that must be incorporated or drenched to achieve preventative activity on non-infected plants in soil or soilless media. It will not cure already-diseased plants.
