TetraSan® 5 WDG is a specialized miticide designed to effectively control spider mites across all life stages, including eggs and nymphs, while preserving most beneficial insects. Its standout feature is its excellent translaminar movement, allowing it to control mites on the underside of leaves even without direct under-leaf spray coverage. TetraSan 5 WDG is ideal for use in greenhouses, landscapes, and nurseries, targeting a variety of spider mites such as Citrus red mite, European red mite, and Two spotted spider mite. The product has a unique mode of action that provides up to five weeks of residual control. For best results, it should be applied at the first sign of infestation and may require a follow-up application after 14 days. It's particularly effective in situations with moderate to heavy infestations or dense plant canopies and can be combined with a contact adulticide for rapid control of adult mites. TetraSan 5 WDG is formulated as a water-dispersible granule, ensuring easy and uniform foliar application without harming the environment or non-target species.
